El edificio se desarrolla en\u00a0una gran sala\u00a0a\u00a0triple altura\u00a0y oculta tres niveles m\u00e1s subterr\u00e1neos donde se produce la electricidad.La central de gran\u00a0modernidad se resuelve con un lenguaje brutalista. El cerramiento est\u00e1\u00a0compuesto por\u00a0una plegadura de hormig\u00f3n visto considerada como una\u00a0abstracci\u00f3n de las monta\u00f1as que rodean el valle.La fachada mas corta, visible desde la v\u00eda, se resuelve plana y en contraste con el futurismo que la plegadura anterior evoca aqu\u00ed se ve representado\u00a0el pasado. Diecis\u00e9is\u00a0relieves de s\u00edmbolos antiguos\u00a0hacen\u00a0referencia al\u00a0hombre y a la naturaleza. Son piezas\u00a0realizadas en hormig\u00f3n, \u00a0de 2,00 x 2,00 metros \u00a0que sobresalen 0.50m sobre el paramento.El interior est\u00e1 constituido por una gran sala con un\u00a0corredor perimetral que\u00a0permite la observaci\u00f3n de los alternadores, situados en una planta m\u00e1s baja. Estos, que cumpliendo con su funci\u00f3n espec\u00edfica, son aut\u00e9nticas esculturas rodeadas por seis murales que pretenden darnos una lecci\u00f3n did\u00e1ctica del funcionamiento de los campos magn\u00e9ticos.En esta central todo es objeto de dise\u00f1o, desde los alternadores hasta los armarios, pupitres, l\u00e1mparas incluso las mesas para los mandos.\u00a0La escalera que da acceso a los alternadores est\u00e1 realizada en\u00a0acero y\u00a0los pasamanos elaborados con el cobre que se emplea para las l\u00edneas de alta tensi\u00f3n.El \u00fanico material empleado en toda la obra es el hormig\u00f3n visto clareado que imita la piedra caliza.
